Slit & rewind

This process is almost the same as rewinding, but knives are now involved. These blades cut the tape to a certain width before rewinding it. This process is usually done as work preparation for die-cutting with the aim of giving the die-cutting machine as little downtime as possible and making production run as efficiently as possible.

Fewer changeover moments > less downtime > increased efficiency!
